CIHA Blog Co-Chair Prof. Akosua Adomako Ampofo honored as Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences Fellow

We would like to congratulate CIHA Blog Co-Editor, Professor Akosua Adomako Ampofo on being elected as a prestigious Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences Fellow.

The Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in 1959 with the aim of bringing together the highest level of intellectuals, experts, and professionals in the country to constitute a “think tank” in the arts and sciences to advise the government and other relevant bodies on issues of importance to national development.

Since 1973, most elected Fellows have delivered an Inaugural Address that touches on contemporary issues of national or international significance.

The President of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (GAAS) therefore invites members of the University community and broader publics to the Inaugural Lecture by Professor Akosua Adomako Ampofo.
