JOIN AHSA and celebrate its 51st Annual Conference! This is our Historic first all Virtual Conference in a time of a global pandemic and revolutionary protests across the world in support of Black Lives and liberation. AHSA honors the founders, scholar-activist JEGNOCH who have led in developing the field and discipline of Africana Studies – a field charged to provide theoretical and practical solutions to Black oppression. AHSA’s honorees have lived decades promoting the need for a global united struggle to achieve African sovereignty based on informed historical analysis of African peoples and our culture that must guide the creation of African-centered scholarship, theory, and activism.
