Encounters between Catholics and Protestants in Africa

The conference is being organized by the Jesuit Historical Institute in Africa under the broader umbrella of Refo500 and RefoRC. It will take place in Nairobi from 11th to 14th July 2017. Over twenty papers will be presented by scholars from different parts of the world. The event commemorates in Africa the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation (1517-2017). It is open to paper presenters and to others who must register beforehand either as full-board participants for four nights (11-14 July) or as day-participants for three days (12-14 July).
