The role of the Dutch Reformed Church within the transformation process in SA

The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR)and the Restitution Foundation invites you to a conversation between Rev Nelis van Rensburg, the leader of the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa and Lukhanyo Calata, son of Fort Calata, a member of the Cradock 4 and Wilhelm Verwoerd, grandson of Dr Hendrik Verwoerd, a former Prime Minister of South Africa.

The conversation will focus on the role of the Dutch Reformed Church within the transformation process in South Africa. Rev van Rensburg will also reflect on Dutch Reformed Church’s meetings with the leadership of the EFF, the widows of the Cradock four, the daughters of Braam Fischer and the membership of the Khulumani Support Group.
