IJR–The Hague Institute Transitional Justice Fellowship Programme
The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) and The Hague Institute for Global Justice (The Hague Institute) are pleased to announce the convening of a three week intensive Transitional Justice in Africa Fellowship Programme (Fellowship Programme). This is a residential programme which will be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa from 8-20 June 2014 and immediately followed by a week in The Hague, Netherlands from 21-27 June 2014. This year’s Fellowship Programme will be open to African nationals living in the African continent. Applicants from Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda and Zimbabwe will be given preference. We are now inviting qualified individuals to apply to this esteemed programme.
To be considered eligible for this Fellowship Programme, you should meet the following criteria: A post-graduate degree in a discipline broadly related to Transitional Justice 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the realm of transitional justice, reconciliation and/or social cohesion, social justice Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English. This will be necessary to read prescribed texts as well as to participate in group discussions.

Our success is built through detailed on-the-ground investigations and uncompromising advocacy.
We are seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Campaign Leader to lead our campaign to break the links between natural resources, conflict and corruption in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This will involve managing a skilled team investigating resource-fuelled corruption and conflict in DRC, developing campaign strategies, writing reports, carrying out high-level advocacy and working with the media.
Applicants must have proven campaigning experience that has resulted in policy changes at the highest level, first-hand experience of field or corporate investigations, excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of managing staff. The ability to speak and write in French is essential, and knowledge of the extractive industries and supply chain issues will be an advantage.

Mauritania Chef de Projet, Concordis
Concordis International seeks a Chef de Projet for a two year Peacebuilding Programme in Mauritania, West Africa.
Living in Nouakchott and working closely alongside local project partners, successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the programme; delivering training to civil society actors, facilitating dialogue between communities in conflict and communicating the outcomes of dialogues to policy makers in regional and national government.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of peacebuilding interventions in complex environments, preferably in the Sahel region, and will be fluent in French and English and have a high standard of spoken Arabic.
