Azeezat Abiola Amusat will be speaking this week at UCLA’s Fowler Museum about the unique wraps she created on view in African-Print Fashion Now and will also demonstrate the wrapping of one elaborate style. In October, the Alliance for Peacebuilding will hold their annual conference to explore both the challenges and bright spots facing the field of peacebuilding, and develop new solutions for the future. The Second Bi-annual African Studies Association of Africa (ASAA) Conference will be held Oct 12 – 14th at the University of Ghana, Legon, the only multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary professional association on the continent dedicated to the study of Africa from an Africanist perspective.
